BabyH @17months

Well, well, well. This mama is on time this month. We sort of had a early dinner last night and by 10 she was fast asleep. I got bored watching Modern Family that I ended up turning on the computer and started writing up baby H’s 17th month milestone. Yay me! I am up to date.

Happy 17th month, sweet Hannah- balingling! Our Little one…”si maliit” as her daddy call her.


Today @ 17th month, she is:


- firm and holding on to 8 front teeth + 4 growing molars.

-seemed to have lost weight last month due to her active moves. No more chubby chunky thighs. Keeping it in 23 lbs.
-must have grown a few inches longer, too.

-indeed daddy’s playmate, and mommy’s shadow.

-loves, loves fresh raspberries and strawberries . Goodbye for now, blueberries!

-knows perfectly the concept of saying Goodbye. Outright, she’ll say bye-bye to you as soon as she knows she’s going to bed. Hee!

- has added 2 words with 3 syllables in her baby dictionary : mama-na, papa-ja

-she’s getting into more eating soups and steamed veggies. Pasta dish still tops it all.

-for snacks, it’s Goldfish crackers and Teddy Bear Grahams

-shows more and more of her unique personality each day. Frustrating to declare it, but she has gotten spoiled because now she wouldn’t want to sleep in her crib …and she still looks for Mama’s B in the middle of the night. ( I know, I know I need to work on this part?!)

-enjoys being with other kiddos of her age group, calls and points them as “Hannah”.

-is very attached to her ladybug blankie, plus anything dog stuff doll. All “wawas” are her bestfriend right now.

-can recite /answer you back her alphabet from A to F: A-apple, B-ball, B- nana, C-cat, D- wawa, E-eggssshh, F-fisssshhh

-thinks pumpkins are apples . Big APPLES!! See how she wants to bite ‘em. Teehee!

- definitely alluring and praising all ELMO’s World shows and … Sesame Street, the Wiggles, Team Umizoomi, Nina & Star

-would act like a ‘baby stinker’ and would throw a mild fit when you try to ignore her when she wants “Up” ( meaning she wanted to be carried)

- totally a cutie pie in her Butterfly costume this coming Halloween weekend. Woot! I can't help but to share more pictures here tomorrow. In the process of ordering Photocards too from Shutterfly.com :-)
